Travel Documents
To enter Honduras, you’ll need a valid passport that doesn’t expire within 6 months of your arrival date. Please double check your passport now in case it needs to be renewed!
Visa Info:
If you’re a U.S. citizen, no visa is required for stays under 90 days. If you're traveling from another country, please check your country’s entry requirements just to be sure.
Departure Fee:
Before leaving Honduras, there is usually a small airport exit fee (around $40 USD) that may or may not be included in your airline ticket. It’s a good idea to bring a little extra cash just in case it needs to be paid at the airport.
Other tips:
-
Make a copy or photo of your passport in case of loss (you can email it to yourself too)
-
Have a printout or screenshot of your return flight handy for immigration, just in case you're asked
-
If traveling with minors, check for any additional documentation required for international travel
