You won’t need to figure out public buses or car rentals. Our family will be handling transportation from the airport to Copán for all guests.

Here’s how it’ll work:

• We’ll reach out closer to the wedding (about 4 weeks before) to confirm rides and group arrivals.

• The drive from the airport to Copán takes about 5 hours, with beautiful views along the way, mountains, greenery, and a peek at rural Honduras.

 To help things run smoothly:

If you can, we’d really appreciate it if you try to book flights that arrive around the same time as others, so we can group pickups and make fewer long drives. For this please reach out to us directly to help you coordinate.

Please note!
We don’t recommend renting a car and driving yourself, especially if it’s your first time in Honduras. The roads can be winding, signage is limited, and it’s just much more relaxing to let us handle the journey for you!

Once you’re in Copán Ruinas, you won’t need a car.
It’s a small, walkable town, and everything, hotels, restaurants, cafes, and wedding events is close by. If you need a lift, mototaxis (like cute little tuk-tuks) are everywhere and easy to catch!
