April 2023

We matched on Bumble. Met at a loud taco spot. Not the smoothest start… but the churros were good and so was the company.

June 2023

Flor’s apartment burned down (really). Dirk offered his place. We shared more tacos, trips, and maybe accidentally fell in love.

August 2023

After Dirk moved to Illinois, we found out we were expecting. A little surprise that changed everything in the best way.

December 2023

Flor moved in, and together we settled into our riverside home in Kankakee, prepping for baby snuggles, sipping coffee, and dreaming about our girl’s arrival.

We became parents! Nova arrived and brought more love, light, and joy than we ever imagined. She’s been our greatest gift.
